熊貓阿波（傑克·布萊克）是和平谷里公認的最懶的動物。時逢強敵入侵和平谷，谷中所有動物合議舉辦一次武林大會選出一位武林高手帶領大家抗擊外敵，保衛家園。當阿波無意中闖入了比武大會的現場的時候，在場的高手們都震驚地發現：這個看起來一無是處的熊貓居然就是即將拯救整個和平谷的命定之「熊」！

Enthusiastic, big and a little clumsy, Po is the biggest fan of Kung Fu around…which doesn't exactly come in handy while working every day in his family's noodle shop. Unexpectedly chosen to fulfill an ancient prophecy, Po's dreams become reality when he joins the world of Kung Fu and studies alongside his idols, the legendary Furious Five--Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey--under the leadership of their guru, Master Shifu. But before they know it, the vengeful and treacherous snow leopard Tai Lung is headed their way, and it's up to Po to defend everyone from the oncoming threat. Can he turn his dreams of becoming a Kung Fu master into reality?
